Plugins & Features

What kind of plugins does Softminal build?
Softminal is a product company that builds and maintains its own premium WordPress plugins — like ImageCraft (AI image SEO), PurchaseCheck (a 'Purchased' badge for WooCommerce), and Cart Reward (a live cart progress bar). We don't take on custom client work; we focus entirely on our own products.
Are your plugins free?
Most of our plugins have a free version available on WordPress.org, with an optional Pro upgrade that unlocks advanced features and higher usage limits. You can start free and upgrade whenever you're ready.
How do I install a plugin?
From your WordPress dashboard go to Plugins → Add New, search for the plugin by name, then click Install and Activate. You can also download the ZIP from WordPress.org (or your account, for Pro) and upload it under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
Will your plugins slow down my site?
No. Every plugin is built performance-first — lightweight, optimized, and loaded only where needed — so it won't weigh your site down or overload your server.
Can I use my own AI API key with ImageCraft?
Yes. ImageCraft uses a Bring-Your-Own-Key model — you can use the native WordPress AI Client or provide your own key from Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or Google Gemini. The plugin never charges you for AI usage; you pay your provider directly.

Licensing & Updates

How do Pro licenses work?
When you purchase a Pro plan you receive a license key. Enter it in the plugin's settings to unlock Pro features and enable automatic updates. Each plan covers a set number of sites.
How many sites can I use my license on?
It depends on your plan. Our tiers typically cover 1 site (Solo), 20 sites (Studio), or unlimited sites (Agency). You can see the exact limits on each plugin's pricing section.
How do I get plugin updates?
Free versions update through WordPress.org like any other plugin. Pro versions update automatically inside your WordPress dashboard once your license key is active — no manual re-uploading needed.
What's the difference between annual and lifetime plans?
Annual plans are billed yearly and include updates and support for as long as you're subscribed. Lifetime plans are a one-time payment that includes updates and support for the life of the product.

Billing & Support

What payment methods do you accept?
Payments are processed securely by Polar, our merchant of record, which supports major credit and debit cards. Your payment details are never stored on our servers.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Yes. Annual subscriptions can be cancelled anytime and stay active until the end of your billing period. We also offer a 14-day money-back guarantee if a plugin isn't the right fit.
How do I get support?
You can reach us through our support portal at support.softminal.com or by emailing [email protected]. Pro customers receive priority support.
Where can I manage my licenses and downloads?
Log in to your Softminal dashboard to view your licenses, manage active sites, download your Pro plugins, and see your order history.
